Immanuel cares deeply about our middle school students.  If you are in middle school, we want to provide you with a place that appeals to your "crazy" side and your "growing" side.  We know how much friendships mean to you, so we want to provide you with ways to grow healthy relationships with both adults and other students.  We also know that God's Word already applies to your life today: we want to help you see how!

Wednesday Night Small Groups:  From September-May we meet from 6-7pm for Small Groups.  We meet as one large group for games and a fun team-based quiz.  Then every 4-7 students are paired with a trained youth-loving volunteer for small group time.  In these groups we try to get Christianity and the Bible's teachings to reach from the mind into the heart. 

Sunday School:  From Sept-May middle school students meet with their teacher to find out what Christianity really is.  6th graders spend the year getting an overview of the whole Bible!  7th and 8th graders dive into other topics of life, our God and how we worship Him.  

Confirmation                                                                   

  Our confirmation program includes Sunday School, Small Groups, and combines more "hands-on" activities such as:

• servant events                                                                              
  
• participation in Sunday worship
• Retreats
• Christian growth in the home
  

I say "hands on" because we think Confirmation students should have the opportunity to act out their faith, and not just sit and think about it.

Confirmation runs from Sept-May.  There will be an informational meeting for both parents and students at the begining of September. 

Your child has the Power of the Holy Spirit.  That Spirit should not be ignored: feed them and help their faith grow through our Confirmation program!
